A funny thing happened in the nation’s Capitol when the As Seen On TV traveling road crew visited Washington, DC, not too long ago. After several long hours of seeing one inventor after another, the lunch bell finally rang and we all trotted across the street for a quick Italian meal before the second wave of eager inventors was ready to hit. As soon as we were done inhaling every last morsel in sight, AJ grabs the bill and in his usual generous style, proceeds to take care of the troops. Now as he reaches in his pocket, he doesn’t remove a finely crafted, Italian stitched leather wallet made by some 130 year old craftsman from Milan who skinned the cow himself… no. Much to all our surprise, the great AJ Khubani takes out this small aluminum alloy hand-held case and when he flips it open everything but the Pasta Boat is in there – neatly organized, all in perfect order. I simply can’t believe that AJ Khubani, the KING of As Seen on TV, really uses the Aluma Wallet! It’s absolutely loaded with photos, credit cards, and all kinds of stuff, but like I said, neatly stored all in one handy-dandy compact little case. Amazing!
But Wait… there’s more! When AJ closes the Aluma Wallet, I reach across to check it out, and like the guy you can’t take anywhere, I knock a bottle of wine over, dumping out half the liquid, basically submersing the entire wallet. Everyone shrieks as I know I’m gonna get yelled at, but instead, AJ says, “no big deal, Tommy” as he just shook the wallet off, opened it up, and everything is in perfectly dry and safe condition! WOW!
Long story short, I am continually amazed at the products TeleBrands makes, and now everyone who traveled in our party has their very own! Everybody picked a different color – I got the screaming red, cuz that’s how I roll. No more big, bulky wallet taking up half my pants pockets, no more bent credit cards and photos or loose papers falling out every time I open it up. This clever little device, invented by a regular person like you and I, actually makes things simple and life a whole lot easier.
But wait, there’ more than that! credit card fraud and identity theft is a terrible problem as thieves can easily steal our personal information simply by scanning the cards in out wallets every time we are within arms length of an RFID scanner. But you are totally safe with the Aluma Wallet as the scanning rays cannot penetrate the case. Just how many times do I have to say… AMAZING!
Listen, I’m not telling you what to do, but… okay, yes I am. Order yourself an Aluma Wallet and I’ll be more than glad to personally join you for dinner… well, as long as you’re paying!

Hello friends. I’m your Vitameatavegamin girl. Are you tired, run-down, listless? Do you poop out at parties? Are you unpopular? The answer to all your problems is in this little bottle. Vitameatavegamin. Yes, Vitameatavegamin contains Vitamins Meat Vegetables and Minerals. Yes, with Vitameatavegamin, you can spoon your way to health. All you do is take a great big tablespoonful after every meal. Mmmmmmm….. It’s so tasty, too! Tastes just like candy! So why don’t you join all the thousands of happy peppy people and get a great big bottle of Vitameatavegamin tomorrow! That’s Vita-meata-vegamin!
Well, if you’re old enough to remember, or you’re a fan of TV Land on Nick at Night, you’d know that Lucille Ball made that bit famous a whole lot of years ago on an episode of I
Love Lucy. Then there was The Honeymooners Chef of the Future, where Ed Norton wanted to know if he could core “a” apple. Anybody remember the hysterical Bass-o-matic Saturday Night Live skit made famous by Dan Aykroyd? It was a live large mouth in a blender… “Wow, that’s great bass!” NOT! People loved those classic skits that made some serious fun of direct response.
The direct biz has launched some of the greatest products ever known in our culture, where hundreds of millions of units have sold. Yeah, hundreds of millions of products – many memorable, some forgettable, and some that were just absolute stinkers. But whether it’s the Veg-o-Matic, Thighmaster, Bow Flex, or the Sham Wow – good or bad – people LOVE to make fun!
First off, the television commercials have produced some crazy characters we either love or loathe. Remember that flaming jackass in the jump suit covered in question marks? Good God, I wanted to hit that maniac in the teeth with a shovel. He sold that book full of wacky info about all this available money from the government. But I think the only people getting money were the guys who wrote the book. There’s the incredibly grating Sham Wow/Slap Chop dude, Tony Little, the Gazelle swinging tool… and nobody but nobody made your ears bleed quite like Billy Mays. You know, listening to Billy was kind of like wearing a jockstrap made of sandpaper, but that dude could have sold an iphone to Helen Keller.
Then there are the celebrities who have pitched for the big bucks, like George Foreman, Christie Brinkley, Chuck Norris, Jack Lalane, Suzzane Somers, and other famous folk who we love to poke fun at. I’ll tell you this, people may have their way with this industry, but hundreds of millions of dollars later, it’s WE who have the last laugh!
Next time we’ll take an even further look at the history behind the crazy world of direct response!

Listen, to me, I am telling you the truth… you don’t have to be a professional inventor to invent a great product! In fact, the best stuff we’re presented with is almost always from a regular everyday person who needed to solve a problem they had. They knew that a lot of other people surely had the same problem and they were convinced that people would pay for the perfect solution solution. You tell me why didn’t anyone think of Bottle Tops before? You open a can of soda or beer and take a few sips then stick it in the fridge… and your drink is flat and tasteless in no time. So some bright bulb said, “Hey, let’s put a top on the can.” Now while it’s hardly the cure for snoring, the inventor is making skads* of dough because he acted on his idea and we did the rest!
That’s Right… It all starts with an idea!
Now, your idea doesn’t have to be for a new product… if you can come up with way to make an existing product better and people will buy it, then GO FOR IT! Spending a little time doing a little bit of research on the idea could be the best investment in time that you ever made! We have sold millions and millions of Windshield Wonders – all because someone had a hard time getting their hands and arms down in the dashboard to clean the glass in their car. Wait a minute… let me back up… I said we’re selling millions and millions! Is that enough motivation to get you off your lazy carcass and do something about that fantastic idea or two that you’ve had rattling around your noggin? Think about it… what have you got to lose but millions of dollars? Yeah, I knew THAT ONE would hurt.
Let’s look at another HUGE seller of ours, the Stick-Up Bulb. You need to have light somewhere. I mean, it’s been a common problem for millions of people since – well since the dark ages (I couldn’t resist that one.) So, a regular everyday person like you created the solution. Problem solved, deposit royalties, thank you.
Okay… you getting it? Am I making myself clear? Move on your idea. You just might be sitting on a pile of moolah! Take a few moments to find out if you just might have the next Ronco Wart Shaver. Dang it… I wish I had thought of that one.

I’m telling you guys that the 90 Day Supreme Workout series of videos is changing people’s live for the better – something creators John Dull and Michele Collier set out to do. And at a price of $19.95 for this comprehensive video series, almost anyone can follow along and watch the amazing changes take place in their own lives.
“People are often overly concerned about losing weight without taking a look at the bigger picture,” says Dull, a guy whose passion runs deep when it comes to looking and feeling great. “ Our goal was not only to create a program that had lasting effects, but was affordable enough where cost couldn’t be the excuse not to try it!”
John’s partner Michele is equally pumped up! “We did a clinical study where we followed fifty people for 90 days and the results were overwhelming to us! A huge amount of inches and weight were shed by the group. Some guys lost four inches in the first 30 days and one woman lost eight inches overall!”
Never has there been a body transformation program like this, and with a price of $19.95, all excuses to start getting in shape are gone for good! You get the complete set of CD videos, a nutrition guide, a chart to keep track of your results, and some of the best training you’ll ever get from both John and Michelle.
“This new and healthy lifestyle can really be yours,” says an excited John. “We’ve done all the groundwork and now it’s time for you to commit to a better life forever! And at $19.95, you just can’t say no to me!”
Stay tuned for an inspiring Part 3 of this amazing breakthrough program!

I’ll tell you what, guys, every once in a while, TeleBrands comes up with something so exciting that absolutely everyone is talking about it! The great AJ Khubani has the most amazing gift for finding inventors with products that just change things for the better. And perhaps most amazing of all, he’s able to offer the world well made products at price points that are simply hard to believe!
Great products like the Ped Egg, the Pasta Boat, the Aluma Wallet, and the Pet Rider are truly revolutionary – they solve common problems with new approaches in the most simple and inexpensive ways. And now, Mr. Khubani has outdone himself, bringing to market one of TeleBrands most life-changing products in the company’s 27 year history. But it’s not a gadget that slices & dices, makes your feet perty or your windshield clean. This one is very different…
Introducing the SUPREME 90 DAY workout – a body transformation program that will change the way you look and feel, both mentally and physically! It’s not all about just losing pounds, but rather a way to strengthen your body, increase your energy, and blow people’s minds when they see the positive change you’ve made to yourself!
ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY CAN DO THIS NO MATTER YOUR AGE, WEIGHT, OR SHAPE… EVEN YOU!
Supreme 90 Day is presented in a series of videos that allow you exercise and move at your own pace. It’s not like a class where you have to keep up with some crazed drill instructor, but instead, a combination of exercise and nutrition that can be tailored to your specific needs! And, it’s backed by real science!
Want to hear the most incredible part? This complete program sells for… $19.95! SAY WHAT?! That’s right, you heard me… Not hundreds of dollars where you have to buy food and have Hans and Franz come to your house to pump you up! Just super easy videos to follow that can make a huge difference in your life… for 19.95! How is that possible? Because AJ Khubani is not only behind it, he has personally been a participant in the program and the guy looks like a billion bucks! So many great retailers like Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and a host of others are selling this like mad and people are swearing by it!
Stay tuned for Part 2 where you’ll get to meet the creators of this life-changing product and hear the spectacular results gotten by a test group of 50 people! You’ve gotta come back to hear more in my next inspiring blog!

People are really starting to recognize my Jersey brother, AJ Khunani in public, and he finds it pretty weird because his intention was never to be a personality. He’s made countless television appearances over the past couple of years, and his stints on Discovery Channel’s Pitchmen has really heightened his popularity. People come up to him constantly with new inventions and product ideas, if fact so much, that TeleBrands holds official Inventor’s Days, where people come in from all over the world to meet the man that could make them a millionaire within five minutes. Within only a few moments AJ knows if an idea is worth looking at further and testing. I’ve never seen anyone with such a keen sense of what works – the man is amazing!
MR. K will tell you that there are three main factors that he looks for when assessing a potential product that is “right” for TeleBrands. And I say that because people often pitch really great ideas, but many just aren’t the right thing for this company.
“We’re looking for mass market products, something we can sell millions of,” says AJ. “Some niche markets ideas we see are great, but it needs to appeal to just about everybody.”
That’s good advice to you “would-be” millionaire inventor types. And to help even further, here are the three main points that Mr. Khubani looks for in a product that will make the grade…
1. It needs to solve a common problem
2. It has to demonstrate well on TV
3. It needs to be a good deal (either $9.95 or $19.95)
Do you have an idea for a product that’s been rattling around in your brain and you’d like to run it by us? Then email us at http://www.telebrands.com/inventors.html

When I sat on the judging panel at Inventor’s Day In Washington, DC, I saw a lot of good people with great products come through those doors, but when John Twerdok from Pittsburgh, PA walked in, we all took notice. John showed us a product like nothing we had really ever seen before, and to show something new and undiscovered to AJ Khubani, well, that’s quite an accomplishment.
“Meet the Happy Hotdog Man,” John said with a smile, “the man who puts the fun into eating hotdogs.!”
The Happy Hotdog Man is a plastic device you place an ordinary hotdog into, and a plastic cover clamps down onto the surface of the pup, making a face, arms and legs. And when it’s cooked, the dude opens up and becomes the Hotdog Man right before your very eyes!
AJ, turned to me and asked what I thought. Now the great Khubani’s first rule of thumb is that a good product has to solve a common problem. But this wasn’t solving any kind of problem at all, it’s just a novelty item that’s fun as all hell!
“I think people are going to go crazy over this,” I said, “I really like it, it’s so different and it’s really a lot of fun.”
AJ completely agreed. “A good novelty item can be a huge seller in the As Seen on TV market,” he said. “And the fact is, I’ve never seen anything like this and I can guarantee, neither has anyone else.”
I have personally never met anyone like Mr. K when it comes to trusting your gut and letting the intuition guide. So several months later, TeleBrands is testing to see if the Happy Hotdog Man really has life, and even I am surprised at the results.
“Absolutely everyone is talking about this,” AJ said, quite happily. “Search Google and you won’t believe the buzz that’s going on!”
He’s not kidding… Jimmy Kimmel did a bit on it during his opening monologue, making a wise crack about former New York
Congressman, Anthony Wiener sponsoring the product. It’s also been featured on Tosh.0, the Huffington Post, CBS, News, and a myriad of bloggers having fun with this wacky new item!
And tonight, ABC’s 20/20 is running a story on AJ and the infomercial we’ve filmed for this most fabulous doggie maker!
Stay tuned for the upcoming TeleBrands Blog as Yours truly, Tommy Z. goes one on one, with an in depth interview with the one and only Happy Hotdog Man, himself. I get brutally frank and right up under his skin with the answers people want know to.
